HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!

A warm Holiday Wish to all our Rotary family!

We've certainly suffered loss in our Rotary family recently, but even that allows us to see clearly what we should be thankful for, what really matters. We are always thankful for those souls that have touched our lives and enriched them, that may be the whole mission of this journey we are all on. We pray for those whose sense of loss is still so near, that they may feel peace in their souls during the Holidays, possibly their most difficult ever. May Peace Be With You All.

Koeze Nut orders are due this FRIDAY!!!!  Get them to Tom Cosio via fax, hand delivery, any means neccessary so he can submit the order. Dr. Cosio's fax # is 407-9126.

Next weeks meeting, on 12/4, will be held at the Greenfields Rehab Center. Since Uncle Frank can't make the meeting, we're bringing it to him! He really needs a lift from his Rotary family. Please make it a point to attend. As an outside catered meeting, we also need a good head count for the lunch order. All you have to do is to click on the hyper link " Meeting December 4" on the main page, and it will automatically take you to the sign in form. You'll also find a map. Greenfields is right next to the Lancaster Country Club. See you there!

Same applies for our Christmas Party on the 8th. We have only a big handful of people registered. Elaine Wolfe registered four times!!! Ms. Wolfe must REALLY be looking forward to it! Maybe she'll keep Peter at home!? Here's a cheery reminder, I beleive its in G major.... la la la.....(to the tune of "White Christmas")

"I'm dreaming

            Of a Rotary shindig;

            Just like the ones I

            Used to know.

            Where the trees are

            Twinklin'

            And fellowship is

            Keepin'

            A smile on everybody's

            Heart.

            Oh I'm dreamin'

            Of a Rotary Christmas.

            With every meeting

            That I miss.

            May your days be

            Merry and Bright!

And may all your Christmas Parties

            Begin the eighth of December..

            Night!

We tried to use the website for our Childrens Xmas Party gift exchange roster, but clubrunner doesnt support that, so here is the main message of the Thanksgiving newsletter:

Ms. Diane will get the names of our young charges on Friday. We only have two club meetings until the Children's Party, which is scant time to ensure all our little angels have a secret Santa. Diane, Dom, myself or Santa ( Paul) will have angels for you at each of the meetings and the Rotary Xmas party. Additionally, you can email me for your angel, and I'll make sure it gets to Diane.

Oh, and I officially nominate the other Paul, Paul Glauber, for Santa. Why? All these 10Ks are trimming Paul Justinger down to nothing, losing his Phat Santa aura. Now Glauber on the other hand...  yeah I know, folks in glass houses......  :o)

Please enthusiastically seek out your angels early to give you ample time to buy a nice gift.

BTW, that was an interesting cartoon on Paul Harris I read in the Dec. Rotarian which arrived at my house yesterday. What a guy! What an organization!

Best wishes for a safe and joyous Thanksgiving.

Yours in Rotary,

Gene
